  • Embassy Suites 185-Suite Hotel Exhibits Design Option III Prototype and New F&B Offering - Flying Spoons

    The 185-Suite Embassy Suites Columbus-Airport in Columbus, Ohio broke ground on June 26 bringing the third Embassy Suites property to Columbus soil, and the first Design Option III prototype to the state.

    Scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2009, and owned by Airport Core Hotel, LLC, the hotel is a celebrated new addition to the Embassy Suites Hotels portfolio. With nearly 200 hotels open and close to 60 in the pipeline, Embassy Suites is making a mark in Ohio with the ninth Embassy Suites property in the state.

    President and CEO of Core Properties Jeff Coopersmith and President of Indus Companies David Patel, kicked off the groundbreaking ceremony with Vern Hoyer of Brackett Builders, the builder of the property, and architect Jerry Bird of Bird Houk Collaborative.

    Conveniently located near to Columbus Airport, the 185-suite hotel will boast the new Flying Spoons hip casual dining option, perfect for business and leisure travelers.
